Recent Broncos history chronicled in song
TVS and two fingers say “Whiners stay home!”

It’s crazy, but Fort Collins group TVS and two fingers have just released a brand new track online which not only takes an overview of the recent events in Broncosland, but also encourages fans to get behind the new team. As the last line of the song goes- “Whiners stay home- let’s play BALL!!”- the track, available now on www.tvsandtwofingers.com, is being released at the start of the Broncos exhibition season to greet the new coach, new players and new Broncos era.

TVS and two fingers is known primarily as a poetry and sound art group based in Fort Collins whose main gigs are usually school assemblies and workshops. But once in a while local events inspire another kind of creative outburst. That includes the group’s first football song- “Sonny Lubick’s Last Game”- a 2007 tribute to former CSU football coach Sonny Lubick. That recording was used by 9 News in Denver for its own tribute to Lubick and the track has attracted thousands of listeners to the group’s web site, www.tvsandtwofingers.com.

The new football song, written by Tim Van Schmidt (the TVS of TVS and two fingers), is titled “Meet Mr. McBronc” and playfully recounts recent Broncos happenings, a look back at the championship players and a nudge at the future. Funky guitar, clattering drums, sound effects of babies and horses and more make “Meet Mr. McBronc” a fun ride for any Broncos fan. The free download is now available on the group’s web site, www.tvsandtwofingers.com.
